The Rising Tide Of Climate Change Concern.

Arguably the most important issue of our age. Demonstrators had set up camp in Oxford Circus at the heart of which was a pink boat. A cause of much disruption and some annoyance it helped the subject of Climate Change to rise a little higher in the public consciousness.

Memorial to Victims Of The Arena Bombing, Manchester.

Floral memorials are sadly an all too common sight across the world, whether the result of idealogical terrorism or crazed individuals. At the Arena Bombing in Manchester 22 victims lost their lives. Here, looking from the shade into the light a portrayal of the celebration of those people’s lives.

Reflecting On Social Distancing And Herd Immunity 2020

At the start of the Covid pandemic, in lockdown, this artist’s subject matter disappeared. A way to reflect our almost solitary lives was to place himself in the unchanged beautiful landscape near Elterwater in Lakeland whilst thinking of the much vaunted herd immunity, the very antithesis of our separateness.

Mental Health: Mental Wealth, Amsterdam 2021-22

A not unrelated topic to all the above and much neglected, Mental Health has crept up the agenda of society’s concerns. In Amsterdam a video was being shown at the Van Gogh museum focusing on his struggles. But the converse is also true, that Vincent had great mental wealth which enabled him to achieve so much.
